Multiple Parcels Delivery in One Booking is possible ECD’s New Feature

We are happy to announce that “Multiple Parcels Delivery” with discounted fees feature is now available for ECD customers!

ECD team always takes pride in listening to the Voice of our Customers and incorporate their feedback in order to offer the best last-mile delivery experience possible.

We are aware that many of our customers struggle with delivering multiple parcels using our ECD app and had to book several orders to complete their deliveries, which is inefficient and uncomfortable.

To solve this issue, our team worked on developing a new feature on ECD Web,  Android and iOS apps to make it possible to book multiple parcels in one order.

Our customers are now able to add up to six parcels to one booking, from one pickup address or point to another drop off one, and enjoy a discounted delivery fee on the additional parcels.

Easy Collect & Drop (ECD) has launched its updated plugin for WooCommerce to offer e-commerce business an improved and efficient delivery solution.

ECD offers various delivery options including To-Door delivery and ECD Points Delivery. Our customers can choose to have their parcels delivered to their home address or the closest ECD Point to them where they can collect their parcel when they have time.

ECD Points include ECD Smart Lockers installed in various locations such as shopping centres and residential complexes and ECD Partner Stores such as printing stores, grocery stores, and more.

By adding ECD plugin to your WooCommerce store as a delivery option, your customers’ purchases can be delivered from your warehouse or collection point to their preferred destination (their home address or closest ECD Point to them).

In August 2022, Easy Collect & Drop (ECD) team reached a new milestone by completing 2000 deliveries successfully and continues to expand its delivery and courier service across South Africa.

[Mulbarton, Gauteng]: A new ECD Point is available for delivery customers in Mulbarton, Johannesburg. Echo Print, a printing, designing and branding shop in Mulbarton Shopping Center joined us as an ECD Partner Store.

Echo Print is now a delivery point in Mulbarton that ECD customers can use to drop off their parcels and get them delivered anywhere in South Africa. It can also be used to receive parcels, you will be notified once your parcel is ready for collection and you are free to go pick it up from the ECD Partner Store anytime during working hours.
